Evening Star

The last steam locomotive built by or for British Railways in Swindon Works, 92220 Evening Star takes its place in the Rainhill Cavalcade on 25th May 1980. This was also the only Standard Class 9F to receive a name when built and the only one to be built with a copper capped chimney as per GWR Swindon Works practice
